Thomas Currin, born Oxford, North Carolina, received his Bachelor of Arts in English and his law degree from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. Mr. Currin studied as a John Motley Morehead Scholar as an undergraduate at the University. He was licensed by the North Carolina Bar in August, 1976. Mr. Currin served as attorney for the City of Creedmoor for 38 years. He currently represents the Town of Stovall.

Lori Dutra, born St. Louis, Missouri, received her Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte and her law degree and Master of Regional Planning degree from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. Ms. Dutra is licensed by both the North Carolina and Florida State Bars. Ms. Dutra is the former President of the Granville County Bar Association and is an active member of the Teen Court Program. Ms. Dutra previously served as attorney for the City of Creedmoor Planning Board and currently represents the City of Oxford Planning Board.

Lisa Newton, born Oxford, North Carolina, received her Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Meredith College and graduated from Meredith College's Program for Legal Assistants in 1994. After completing her degree, Ms. Newton joined Currin & Dutra, LLP as a legal assistant. Ms. Newton is a certified paralegal by the North Carolina State Bar, is certified by the National Association of Legal Assistants, and is a North Carolina Notary Public.
